The Standard
Every robot we supply follows a published pathway. The same checks, the same documentation, the same accountability — for every unit, every buyer, every country.
We do not improvise. We do not rely on a manufacturer's brochure. We do not pass a robot to a buyer and disappear.
This is the standard we apply.
1. Compliance
Every robot is assessed against applicable European requirements before delivery.
- CE conformity — verified against the manufacturer's declaration and technical file
- Documentation — declarations, manuals, and safety information in English
- Labelling — CE marking, serial numbers, and identification confirmed
- Traceability — every unit recorded and linked to its documentation
Where certification is not yet complete, we say so clearly, and we do not deliver until it is.
2. Performance
Every robot is verified against the manufacturer's published specifications.
- Payload and endurance — confirmed against declared figures
- Mobility and terrain — tested for the environments it is sold into
- Software and control — checked for stability, updates, and language support
- Battery and charging — verified for real operating conditions, not ideal ones
Specifications on paper and performance in the field are not always the same thing. We check both.
3. Documentation
Every robot arrives with a complete, signed record.
- Technical file — specifications, configuration, and serial number
- Compliance record — CE documentation and declarations
- Delivery record — configuration, accessories, and condition at handover
- Support record — named contact, service terms, and spare parts pathway
The buyer does not need another opinion. The buyer needs evidence. This is the evidence.
4. Support
Every robot is backed by a named European partner.
- Installation — setup and commissioning where required
- Training — operator and maintenance training in English
- Service — maintenance, repairs, and spare parts through our European network
- Continuity — a named contact who remains responsible after the sale
A robot is not a one-time transaction. It is a working asset. We support it as one.
5. Independence
We do not guess. We do not oversell. We do not take commission from anyone whose interests conflict with the buyer's.
Our interest is simple: that the robot performs as stated, is compliant as required, and is supported as promised.
That is the standard.
Why this standard exists
Industrial robots are bought on trust. A manufacturer describes the machine. A video is sent. A specification sheet is shown. And the buyer commits tens of thousands of euros on nothing more than a story.
Some of those robots are exactly what the manufacturer says. Some are not. Payload that collapses under real load. Battery life that only exists on paper. Certification that was never completed.
By the time the buyer knows, the money is gone and the robot is already on site.
The Dutch Robo Standard exists so that this does not happen to you.
