About Dutch Robo
Q1. Who is Dutch Robo?
Dutch Robo is a European distribution and service partner for Galileo robots — quadruped, humanoid, and explosion-proof systems. We supply, verify compliance, deliver, and support robots across Europe from our base in the Netherlands.
Q2. Are you the manufacturer?
No. We are the European distribution and service partner. The robots are manufactured by Galileo. We handle European compliance, import, delivery, training, and long-term support.
Q3. Where are you based?
In the Netherlands. We serve buyers across Europe.
Q4. What languages do you work in?
English and Dutch. We can also assist in Spanish.
About the Robots
Q5. What types of robots do you supply?
Three categories:
- Quadruped robots — inspection, security, patrol, industrial survey
- Humanoid robots — interaction, service, research, education
- Explosion-proof and technical robots — hazardous, explosive, and extreme environments
Q6. Do you supply accessories and payload modules?
Yes. Cameras, LiDAR, sensors, communication systems, audio, manipulation arms, and extended power options. Tell us the task and we will recommend the right configuration.
Q7. Can the robots be customised?
In most cases, yes. Configuration, payload, software, and accessories can be adapted to your application. We confirm what is possible before any order.
Q8. Do you sell used robots?
No. We supply new robots only.
Certification and Compliance
Q9. Are your robots CE marked?
Every robot supplied by Dutch Robo carries the CE marking and is accompanied by the manufacturer's EU Declaration of Conformity. We verify this documentation before delivery.
Q10. Is CE marking the same as CE certification?
No. There is no such thing as "CE certification." CE marking is the manufacturer's declaration that the product meets applicable EU requirements. Only certain high-risk products require third-party certification from a Notified Body. We use the correct terminology because accuracy matters.
Q11. What documentation comes with each robot?
- CE marking and EU Declaration of Conformity
- Technical file and specifications
- Operator and maintenance manuals in English
- Delivery record with serial number and configuration
- Support and service terms
Q12. Do you handle certification for products that are not yet CE marked?
Where a product is not yet CE marked, we say so clearly and do not deliver until the documentation is complete.
Q13. Can you supply ATEX-rated or explosion-proof robots?
Yes. We supply explosion-proof and technical robots for hazardous and explosive environments. Specific certification depends on the model and application — contact us with your requirements.
Buying and Delivery
Q14. How do I start the process?
Tell us your application, environment, country, and timeline. You do not need to know the model. We will recommend the right system and confirm what is possible.
Q15. How long does delivery take?
Lead time depends on the model, configuration, and certification status. We confirm the timeline in writing before any order.
Q16. Do you deliver across Europe?
Yes. We deliver across Europe, with logistics and documentation handled by us.
Q17. What are the payment terms?
Payment terms are agreed in writing before any order. They depend on the order value, configuration, and delivery schedule.
Q18. Do you require a minimum order?
Not necessarily. Requirements depend on the model and configuration. Contact us to discuss your situation.
Q19. Can I see a robot before buying?
Where possible, yes. We can arrange demonstrations or site visits depending on the model and your location.
Support and Service
Q20. What support do you provide after the sale?
Installation, commissioning, operator training, maintenance training, spare parts, repairs, and software support. A named contact remains responsible after the sale.
Q21. Do you provide training?
Yes. Operator and maintenance training in English, either on site or remotely, depending on the robot and your team.
Q22. What about spare parts?
We provide a spare parts pathway through our European network. Availability depends on the model and component.
Q23. How long do you support a robot?
We support the robot for its working life. Specific service terms are agreed in writing before delivery.
Q24. What happens if a robot fails in the field?
Contact your named support contact. We will assess the issue and arrange repair, replacement, or technical support as quickly as possible.
Q25. Do you offer maintenance contracts?
Yes. Maintenance and service contracts can be arranged. Contact us to discuss your needs.
Working with Us
Q26. Do you take commission from manufacturers?
No. Our interest is that the robot performs as stated, is compliant as required, and is supported as promised. We do not take commission from anyone whose interests conflict with the buyer's.
Q27. Are you an exclusive distributor?
Exclusivity depends on our agreement with Galileo. Contact us directly to discuss the current status for your country and product line.
Q28. Can you advise on which robot is right for my application?
Yes. That is exactly what we do. Tell us the problem, and we will tell you honestly what is possible — including when a robot is not the right answer.
Q29. Do you sell to private individuals?
We focus on business, industrial, security, research, and public-sector buyers. Contact us to discuss your situation.
Q30. How quickly do you respond?
Within one business day.
